Maybe and Option

I know that it is hard to live in an apartment when you have a couple kids. It seems that the walls just get closer and closer because the kids acquire so many toys and have so much more stuff that an adult. I remember when Ken and I had Ben it seemed like he owned so much more stuff than the two of us put together. That's why we started looking for a house. We both knew that we wanted to have another baby soon and there was no way that we would be able to fit more into an already full apartment. So I can for sure see where my cousin is coming from when she says that she would really like a bigger house for her family. She however does not have the credit to go buy a house because of her past.
One thing that might be an option for her might be a manufactured home. They are much less expensive than a house but they still have the same benefits. You can have the yard that you wanted and well as the privacy. You can also have the peace of mind that you are investing in something rather than paying rent to a land lord and not getting anything from it. I will have to email her this website to show her how affordable they are in Illinois. Other states are also equally affordable check it out.
