One thing that I am glad for is the speech class that Ben took for a few years. I could recognize that he needed speech right away. I don't really know how I could tell but it was pretty obvious to me. I can tell then other children that I am around need it as well. I wonder if that means I should consider a Speech-Language Pathologist Jobs. I don't think that I would have the patience to do something that requires so much repetition all the time. I love the private schools but it is sure a pain to get your child into speech when they are not enrolled in a public school. I can surely see why people put it off thinking it will get better on its own. One thing that always worried me with Ben was kindergarten. I knew they learn to read in that grade and I was afraid that he would not be able to say them. I knew that would hold him back. He is talking really good now and has officially graduated speech for the time being.
