Aidan and Mom

Well over the weekend Aidan and I went to watch the Crete parade. We had a good time. Why was it just Aidan and mommy you ask? Well the other kids were in the parade. Madison rode on her schools float in a Santa sleigh and Ben was with the cub scouts float with Ken. Aidan and I sat on the curb and watched as they both went by while we shouted their names and waved to them. Even though it was just Aidan and I he got a lot of goodies from the parade. A Lot of people were walking up to him and handing him things. He got a glow bracelet as well as a teddy bear that a bank was passing out. He got about 6 candy canes that he does not like after he tasted them, and he got 5 pens all from the school our nephew goes too. I was a little confused why five people gave a two year old a pen but they were nice pens so we are grateful for them. The kids are always using pens and loosing them as well. Aidan loved to see Santa on the top of a fire truck. He was talking about it all night long. Glad he had so much fun. It was nice to spend time with just him for a few minutes.
