Long weekend

Well it was a very nice long weekend for us since it was the fourth of July holiday. Ken came home at noon on Thursday and since mom had the kids we went to see the new transformers movie. I have to admit I was not really impressed with it. I did like looking at the scenes that we saw when they were shooting the movie. Other than that it was not as good as the other movies in my opinion.
We did not really do much on Friday. We were awaiting the delivery of our new furniture. Ken did a little work outside and also finished up our patio blocks. I am really happy with the way it turned out. I am impressed it looks so nice. The back yard is really looking good now. I love to have a nice yard so when others com over we can sit and relax without thinking our yard looks shabby. Then on Saturday we went to the Michigan city beach and we also went to the lighthouse mall. It was a beautiful day and really hot. The water at the beach was pretty cold so I was glad that we went that day instead of Sunday like we were going to do in the first place. On Monday we decided to go to monee and go swimming in our friends pool as we also did that Tuesday as well. I could really get used to swimming all the time. I really love the water. I was also very glad that the kids were enjoying themselves as well. I can not believe that it is already July. Summer is already half over and we still have so much planned.
